Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: July 26, 2026
Welcome to Solor. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Solor platform, including our mobile application and website. By accessing or using Solor, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Solor is a platform that connects customers with photographers for photoshoot bookings in the Greater Lisbon area (including Cascais and nearby areas). We do not provide photography services ourselves, do not employ or supervise photographers, and do not process payments. All photoshoot services, payments, and interactions occur directly between users. Solor is not responsible for accidents, injuries, property damage, or any other adverse situations arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other users, and Solor does not provide any monetary compensation or reimbursement for any damages, losses, or claims. Please read Sections 15 and 16 carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using our service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use our service.
1.1 Assumption of Risk
Customers acknowledge that photoshoots and related meetings may involve travel, outdoor or indoor locations, physical activity, and other inherent risks. By using Solor, you accept these risks and agree that Solor is not responsible for any injury, accident, loss, or damage resulting from your participation in any photoshoot or meeting arranged through the platform, and that Solor will not pay monetary compensation for such events.
2. Eligibility
To use Solor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Not be prohibited from using our service under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
3. Account Registration
3.1 Customer Registration

- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your account information remains accurate and current
3.2 Account Types
Customer Accounts: Allow you to browse photographers, submit booking requests, communicate with photographers, approve or cancel requests, manage bookings, and leave reviews. Customers may create an account through the iOS app.
Photographer Accounts: Photographer accounts are created and onboarded by Solor (they are not available through public self-registration). Photographers log into the same iOS app and are directed to the photographer (provider) experience, where they can manage packages, respond to requests, communicate with customers, and manage bookings.
4. Use of the Platform
4.1 Permitted Uses
You may use Solor to:
- Browse and search for photographers and photography packages (as a Customer)
- Submit and manage booking requests
- Communicate with other users through our messaging system
- Manage photographer offerings, requests, and bookings (as a Photographer)
- Leave honest reviews and ratings
4.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users

- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality
- Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or reviews
- Use the platform to facilitate fraudulent transactions
5. Booking Requests and Bookings
5.1 Request and Booking Flow
Bookings on Solor follow this process:
- The Customer creates a booking request to a Photographer.
- The Photographer and Customer communicate through the in-app chat to agree on location, time, and other details.
- The Photographer sets the location and time on the request and submits it for Customer review, or cancels the request if no agreement is reached or for any other reason (for example, unavailability or illness).
- The Customer performs a final review of the request and either approves it (which creates a booking) or cancels it if the details are not acceptable.
A booking is created only when the Customer approves the request after the Photographer has submitted it for Customer review.
5.2 Cancellations
Either the Customer or the Photographer may cancel a confirmed booking. Cancellation and any related fees or refunds are handled directly between the parties outside of Solor, unless otherwise agreed between them. Frequent cancellations by either party may result in suspension or termination of the account.
5.3 No-Shows
If you fail to show up for a confirmed booking without proper notice, the other party may charge a no-show fee (handled directly between you and the other party), and your account may be subject to restrictions, including suspension or termination for repeated no-shows.
6. Photography Packages
Photographers may offer packages on Solor. A package is an offering that must include a price and session duration. Photographers may also optionally specify the number of edited photos to be delivered and the delivery timeframe (for example, number of days).
Solor does not guarantee the content, quality, accuracy, or timely delivery of any package. Package details are provided by Photographers. Disputes about package deliverables, quality, or delivery times must be resolved directly between the Customer and the Photographer. Solor does not provide monetary compensation for package-related claims.
7. Payments and Fees
7.1 Payment Processing
Important: Solor does NOT process payments. All payments for photography services are handled directly between Customers and Photographers outside of the platform. Payment methods may include:
- Cash payment
- Bank transfer
- Any other method agreed upon between Customer and Photographer
7.2 Platform Fees
Solor is currently free to use during a test (beta) period. We do not charge service fees or commissions on bookings during this period. We reserve the right to introduce fees or commissions in the future with advance notice to users.
7.3 Payment Arrangements
Customers and Photographers are responsible for:
- Agreeing on payment terms and amounts directly
- Handling all payment transactions privately
- Resolving any payment disputes between themselves
Solor is not responsible for any payment disputes, non-payment, or refund issues that arise between Customers and Photographers, and Solor does not provide monetary compensation for such issues.
7.4 Refunds

Disputes about ownership, usage rights, delivery, editing, or quality of photographs must be resolved directly between the Customer and the Photographer.
